ABOUT DIVORCED ENERGY
In 2023, a non-follower left a comment on my Instagram reel: "divorced energy".
I can only imagine the process. They saw a reel that they didn't like. They looked through my profile and came to the {true} conclusion that I was a divorced, single-mom. They scrolled back to original reel they saw and thought, "Hmmmm...what could I comment that would cut her down. Got it." and typed that comment.
But truthfully, they were right about one thing: it really was divorced energy.
But not the way they meant it.
See, I was going through a divorce. We had just signed the papers earlier that year. And though it was amicable, it was still hard. Really hard. Even the "good" divorces flip your world upside down. There were days I cried in my car before pickup. Nights that I couldn't sleep. Moments that I didn't think I'd make it through.
But I did.
And somewhere in that mess, I realized something: divorced energy isn't just about relationship status. It's about divorcing anything that doesn't serve you.
Limiting beliefs. Toxic people. Playing small. The version of yourself that waited for permission. The voice that said you weren't enough.
Divorced Energy is choosing yourself in the good, bad, and everything in between moments.
It's waking up at 4am, not because you have to, but because you're building something that matters. It's showing up even when you've been crying. It's saying "yeah, this is me" without apologizing. It's letting your children see your storms, but working hard so they don't get wet.
So to the person who left that comment: Thank you. You named my next chapter.
This brand is for every person who's chosen themselves. Who's turned pain into power. Who shows up messy and unstoppable. Who knows that divorced energy isn't about what you left behind... It's about who you are becoming.
So my question is, what energy are you divorcing?

GIVING BACK
As a single parent, I know how hard it can be to juggle it all. That's why 5% of Divorced Energy's profits go to The Single Parent Project—a national organization that provides financial relief and community support to single parents in crisis.
When you buy from Divorced Energy, you're not just choosing yourself. You're helping a single parent get the support they need in their hardest moments.
Rent. Childcare. Utilities. Groceries. The basics that make the difference between making it and not making it.
The Single Parent Project goes beyond just financial assistance, they provide peer mentoring, support groups, budget counseling, and resources to help families achieve independence. They address the whole family, not just a temporary need.
This brand is a movement. And we're moving to lift each other up.
